Wanna lose 10 pounds in 2 weeks?
What about gaining so much energy that those around you will be wondering what you’re up too?
Seriously, if I had of realised that a few simple changes in my diet would have resulted in rapid weight loss, (I did in-fact lose 10 pounds in 2 weeks. For my Aussie friends that’s 4.5 kg’s!!) I would have made these changes years ago.
Before we jump into the nitty gritty plan, I feel compelled to share with you the simple truth and the secret to my success has been in large part my ability to let go of my limiting beliefs as it relates to my ability to take control of my health.
Your thoughts and beliefs become self fulfilling prophecies in your life. Feeding your mind with the right information and taking on board a new philosophy as it relates to your body (and life) is the single determining factor in your successful ability to lose 10 pounds in 2 weeks and keep it off forever! Okay, with that said.
While I do feel sooooo much better in my body with some of the unwanted fat gone, it’s the increase in my energy and the very noticeable difference in my mental clarity and overall happiness that I’m most excited to share.
I feel like a sleepy fog has been lifted and released from my body and it feels so friggen amazing that I’m inspired to share what I’ve discovered with you.
So how to lose 10 pounds in 2 weeks without even trying, really? Well, this all started with my husband, (Shane Krider), recommending that I read a book called EAT DIRT. Great name huh! I thought so.
I purchased my copy through audible, (great if you wanna listen while on the go) but you might wanna pick up a free copy via this link. (at least at the time of writing this post you can pick up a free copy).
Anyways, Shane thought I’d get a lot of value from the book….and I quote…”Rach… you might wanna check out this book as you could really do well to lose 10 pounds in 2 weeks” What the! Bloody ass*ole right!
Just kidding. He didn’t say that.
No, he recommended the book because I’ve experienced health challenges just about all my life. Since I was two years old I’ve suffered with Eczema, at times Psoriasis, constipation (ok, way to put that out there, done) and often debilitating sinus problems that can have me in bed for the entire day dealing with an unbelievably runny nose. Oh and not to mention an overall fogginess and lack of energy (that seriously, I didn’t realise till now just how lacking in energy I’d been).
Or maybe I didn’t realise till now just how GOOD one is supposed to feel when the body is not being poisoned. Can you relate? Have you ever wondered where your energy went?
You know the cool thing about these results is that the weight loss has been an added bonus. EAT DIRT is not a weight loss plan as such. It’s not a “diet book”. It’s education on how to feed your body foods that nourish and support your system in order to heal from the inside out. The weight loss and the energy is a byproduct of eating foods that supportive your body.
Okay, let me just cut to the chase. GLUTEN. By following the EAT DIRT guidelines, I removed gluten from my diet and the results have been nothing short of outstanding. (note, I also swapped to all organic foods, incorporated the recommended bone broth soup (tastes a whole lot better than it sounds) and made other subtle changes to assist in the healing of my body by following the Eat Dirt guidelines). But it’s the removal of the gluten and all that sugar that’s had the most immediate impact.
The education that I’ve gained from this book has set me free to a degree that I didn’t even know was possible. Highly recommended!
One of the things I learned was that I suffer from a very common medical condition called Leaky Gut (not so glamorous I know!) Anyhoo, it’s such a relief for me to know that there are pro-active steps that I can take (am taking) in which to heal myself from the inside out.
A variety of diseases have been linked to leaky gut.
- Allergies
- Asthma
- Autism
- Autoimmune disease
- Eczema and psoriasis
- Inflammatory bowel disease
- Rheumatoid arthritis
- Systemic inflammatory response syndrome (SIRS)
- Type 1 diabetes

Imagine finally getting your weight under control, yes lose 10 pounds in 2 weeks, but at the same time take care of numerous other health issues – for good!
I’m so grateful that my journey has led me to this point in my life where I’m open to discover and accept new ideas and philosophy’s. For years I’ve been told by the Doctors, Dermatologists and Specialists alike that there’s “nothing” you can do about your skin issues. It’s in your genes, here pop this pill to take the swelling down. Oh you’ve got a rash, time for a shot, jab!
You know it’s early days for me. Two weeks into following a new way of eating and caring for my body and I’m actually not even following the complete plan yet. Here in Chile it takes a while for me to source things (more on that in another post).
But with the results that I’ve experienced so far, it just gives me so much optimism for the future. I wish for everyone to feel this bloody fantastic!
You know each day we are faced with a multitude of decisions. What to have for breakfast, do I go to Yoga today or skip it? Should I pick up that self help book and spend some time nurturing myself, nah, don’t have the time. It’s this constant back and forth, a battle of wills.
Shane often says to me that it’s not a pursuit of perfection. So long as you make the right choice most of the time you’re heading in the right direction.
Remembering though, a mindset shift must take place. I experienced a paradigm shift with the reading and application of the Eat Dirt plan and that’s the secret to my success. (not just in losing 10 pounds in 2 weeks) but my secret to success in life.
Seek the education, keep an open mind, try it on for size (meaning apply what you’re learning) and if you experience a positive response then take your application of the plan up a notch!
Here’s to your health!
